Hotel policies:
Check-in from 2pm / Check-out by 11am
Early arrivals before check-in time cannot be guaranteed. For guests who wish to access their rooms before check-in time we strongly recommend to reserve the night prior to arrival.
All departures after check-out time and up to 2 pm are subject to availability and must be reconfirmed with the Reception Staff on the day of departure. A late departure fee may apply. If you plan to check out after 2 pm an additional night must be booked.
A luggage store room is available for hotel residents on the day of arrival/departure.
The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize at any time before check in date the card used to guarantee for the booking.
A guarantee deposit of EUR 100 on a valid Debit/Credit card is required on arrival. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and is subject to inspection of the accommodation for any damage or smoking detected.
Exceeding the maximum bedroom occupancy without written hotel authorization will incur a minimum fee of €200.00, which will be imposed on the booker. Additionally, immediate removal from the premises will be enforced.
When booking more than 5 rooms, a non-refundable deposit for the first night, multiplied by the number of rooms booked is required.
Children of all ages are welcome. Children of 3 years old and above will need an additional bed, as result a suitable room to accommodate all guests needs to be booked.
Cot and extra bed policies: 0-2 years - Free of charge
Guests under 18 years of age travelling alone may be required to provide a permission from their parents/guardians to stay at the property.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

1. Respect for Your Privacy
Knock and Announce: Our staff will always knock and announce themselves before entering your room, whether it’s for housekeeping, maintenance, or any other service.
“Do Not Disturb” (DND) Policy: If you display a “Do Not Disturb” sign, we will respect your privacy and not enter your room. If the sign remains on the door for over 24 hours, our management may conduct a brief welfare check to ensure your safety, as part of our commitment to your wellbeing.
2. Room Access for Health and Safety
Emergency Situations: In rare cases of emergency—such as fire alarms, health and safety concerns, or reports of violent behaviour—our team may need to enter guest rooms without permission to ensure everyone’s safety. For instances involving violence or suspected criminal behaviour, we will work closely with An Garda Síochána (Irish police) to assess the situation and may enter your room in cooperation with authorities.
Welfare Checks: For guests who haven’t been seen for an extended period (over 24 hours with a DND sign), we may conduct a welfare check to confirm that you are safe and comfortable.
3. Housekeeping and Maintenance Visits
Housekeeping Services: Our housekeeping team operates according to your preferred schedule. If you’re present in the room, we will only clean with your permission and can return at a time convenient for you.
Maintenance Requests: For any pre-scheduled or urgent maintenance needs, we will always attempt to inform you in advance. For urgent repairs, especially those impacting safety or comfort, we may enter if you’re unavailable, but we strive to notify you as soon as possible.
4. Guest Information and Privacy
Confidentiality: Your privacy is our priority. We take great care to ensure that all guest information and room access details are handled securely, in compliance with Ireland’s privacy laws and the GDPR.
Access Records: We maintain logs for any instance where a room is accessed without the guest present, ensuring accountability and transparency.

Beresford Hotel IFSC is located in Dublin City Centre in Store Street, Dublin 1, close to O'Connell Street. From the airport, the Dublin Express operated by Dublin Bus, will bring you to the stop on Custom House Quay, which is only 300m from the hotel. Alternatively, the Aircoach private service will bring you to O'Connell street just a few minutes from the hotel. The International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) is closeby, as are many visitor attractions and sights such as Trinity College, Temple Bar, Croke Park and Dublin Castle. The main shopping thoroughfares of Henry Street and Grafton Street are just a stroll away.
Discounted Guest Parking at Irish Life Car Park for Beresford Hotel Guests:
The Irish Life car park is located on Gardiner Street Lower (access through the Beresford Lane) and is at 100 metres from the Hotel. The discounted rate is of 17€ per 24 hours.
Please note this is not a 24-hour car park and it is closed on Bank holidays.

When checking out please ensure you ask for the discount ticket at the hotel reception. Before returning to your vehicle go to the pay station in the car park, enter your parking ticket followed by the discount ticket which will apply the discount to your stay.
